The perfect burger, however, seems to be alluding us - or maybe we're just being too judgmental. After all, we loved Coal Burger, adore Hubbell & Hudson Kitchen's burgers, and are over the moon for Crescent Moon's burger. Maybe we just need to go sample them all again. Can we get a volunteer to come along? Point is, in our quest, we made a stop in at 3 B's Bill's Burgers & Beer recently and, well... we're still searching. Not that it was bad, it could actually be pretty good provided you had a beer to wash it down.
Bill's Burgers and Beer has been holding their own in the same location for several years now and recently expanded into the ajoing space next to them. But don't let that fool you into thinking that the expansion means that they serve up good food. It's really just a beer joint that happens to server burgers.
The service counter is just inside the front door.
The Hickory Burger - 3B's Burgers and Beer at Bill's
Three B's - Bill's Burger and Beer... I think that Bill should have drank less beer before he decided to make burgers. They are much better after having a beer or two before the burger.
Similar to the low quality, frozen patties, the fries were totally unremarkable.
The Bottom Line
On one hand, With so many better Burger Restaurants in The Woodlands we have no immediate plans to return to 3B's on Rayford road. On the other hand, if you like a couple of cold beers with your burger, Bill's just might satisfy you because the beer easily washes away the taste of frozen food.
